Set it up once. PMs show up on time.

Not every machine runs on the calendar
Pair your maintenance plans with meter triggers. When a reading crosses your limit, the work order is created on its own.
Log the reading
Runtime hours, mileage or cycles, from the web or a phone on the floor.

Set the limit once
For example, above 2,500 hours: create a high-priority service job, assigned and due in 7 days.

The service job appears when it's needed
The compressor reached 2,520 hours, so its 2,500-hour service was created, prioritized and assigned.

See what’s coming and who will do it
Plan ahead on the calendar, then spread the work across your team on the scheduling board.
See upcoming PMs before they’re created
The work order calendar shows planned PMs next to scheduled jobs, so you can spot busy weeks early.
- 1Planned PMs count
How many PMs fall in the week.
- 2Show planned
Toggle future PMs on and off.

Balance the week across your team
Drag work from the backlog onto a technician and a day. Everyone’s workload is visible on one board.
- 1Technicians by day
See who is free and who is overloaded.
- 2Scheduled work
Color-coded by priority and status.
- 3Backlog
Unscheduled work, ready to drag onto the board.

Prove that prevention is working
Built-in dashboards track the numbers maintenance managers report on, with target lines on the charts.
The share of work coming from maintenance plans instead of breakdowns.
How many work orders were finished on or before their due date.
Open work over time, so you see capacity problems early.
Work created versus work completed in each period.
Every plan keeps a list of the work orders it created. Each one records the checklist answers, who did the work, when, and the parts used.
Open any asset to see its maintenance plans, PM work orders, meters and failure history side by side.
See asset managementPMs land in your technicians' pockets
Plans are set up on the web. The work orders they create show up in the mobile app with everything needed to finish the job.
Push notifications as soon as a PM is created for them.
Pass/fail, yes/no, numbers and notes, step by step.
Log meter readings while standing at the machine.
Attach before and after photos to the work order.

What is preventive maintenance software?
Preventive maintenance software schedules routine maintenance before equipment fails. In MaintainNow you create a maintenance plan with a schedule, the assets it covers and a work order template, and the work orders are created automatically on time.
How do maintenance plans create work orders?
Each plan has a repeat pattern (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, every N periods) and an optional number of days to create work orders in advance. When the time comes, MaintainNow creates one work order per asset with the title, instructions, priority, assignee and checklist from the template.
What happens if the last PM isn’t finished yet?
MaintainNow doesn’t stack work orders. The next work order for a plan is created only after the previous one is completed, so your backlog doesn’t fill up with duplicate PMs.
Can I schedule maintenance based on usage instead of dates?
Yes. Add meters such as runtime hours, mileage or cycles to your assets and set a trigger, for example above 2,500 hours. When a reading crosses the limit, a work order is created automatically.
Can I pause a plan?
Yes. Plans can be active, paused or terminated. Pause a plan during a seasonal shutdown and resume it when the equipment is back in service.
Can I try maintenance plans before I buy?
Yes. Every new account gets a 7-day free trial of every feature, including maintenance plans, meters, the scheduling board and dashboards. No credit card is needed.
